Between March 5-7th Research Associate Jennie Larsson from World Maritime University (WMU), presented the SBOIL project at the 12th annual International Technology, Education and Development Conference, INTED2018, in Valencia, Spain. The conference is one of the largest international education conferences for lecturers, researchers, technologists and professionals from the educational sector. It is a reference event where more than 700 experts from 80 countries get together to present their projects and share their knowledge on teaching and learning methodologies and innovations on educational technology. The conference was a good platform for dissemination of information and exchange of ideas. The oral presentation of the SBOIL project generated several offers of cooperation from other Universities, particularly concerning the table top exercise. There was also a request from several participants, for the SBOIL project to come back in next year and present the results from the exercise. The SBOIL project was also presented as a conference paper with the title
„MARITIME EDUCATION AND TRAINING ACTIVITIES: IMPROVING OIL SPILL RESPONSE IN THE SOUTH BALTIC SEA REGION“ (H. Nilsson, D. Dalaklis, J. Larsson, J. Pålsson).
