On May 16th the 4th SBOIL project meeting was held in Rostock. Participants from all three partner institutions gathered in Rostock to discuss the actual state of the project. The first half of the day was filled with reporting about activities that were carried out in Rostock, Szczecin and Malmö. After the lunch the group went on a field trip to see the oil spill response vessel VILM, which has Rostock as its home port. The master of the ship gave a tour and answered technical questions. In the afternoon upcoming activities were discussed. These include the Table Top Exercise, practical field trainings and simulator courses.
The Team is looking forward to a busy summer with a lot of practical implementation taking place.
